Viva Poong Jesus Nazareno!
After three straight years of postponement due to pandemic restrictions, the traditional annual procession Traslación of the Black Nazarene will finally be held once again on January 9, 2024.
Everyone is invited to participate in the activities and celebrate in a sacred, safe and orderly manner the commemoration of the solemn transfer of the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from Intramuros to Quiapo Church.
The Nazareno 2024 – Debosyon, Traslación, Misyon will start on December 30 with a Walk of Thanksgiving (Lakad Pasasalamat). Quiapo Church will then have nine-day Novena Masses starting December 31, 2023 to January 8, 2024.
A Barangay Visitation within the Quiapo Community is scheduled from January 1 to 6, replica blessing and procession on January 3 and 4, and activities are also going to be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta from January 6 to 9.
